Or, at least feel like it.
I would sleep in this bed. In a heartbeat.
The ribbons holding back the ‘curtains’ were actually tied on, but they were then glued in place so the curtains don’t work, sorry. 😀
She looks so smug.
Obligatory in-the-room pictures:
I think she likes it. But then again, who doesn’t like sleeping like a Disney Princess? Cos I know I do.
I’ve always loved the clean, smart look of a well-fitted leather halter on any horse (although, not gonna lie, the nicer the better). I decided to try and make one for my Schleichs out of some old leather that I had in my drawer and this is how it turned out:
And on an Akhal-Teke:
Admit it, every item of tack looks better with something pink, in this case a plaited leadrope.
Some of the strips of leather are thinner than others as I’m still experimenting with it all. I might make some bigger stuff with this idea…. maybe a Classic bridle? They don’t have any tack yet….
Remember the empty pot last Saturday? Well, not only did it get some flowers in it:
But it also got a buddy:
They could go in front of the stables….
Add a bit of greenery to the (so far) barren and lifeless stables. 😀
Pretty much the scale I felt like I was working in while doing this.
I’ve seen pictures on Pinterest of Schleich Falabella Western saddles & bridles by a user on Flickr that looked amazing. Naturally, I decide to see if an English bridle is possible.
None of the buckles actually work, which is why there’s an extra bit of leather on the headpiece, so it can still come off his head. Just not in the usual way.
It’s still a bit wonky, but it is possible, so I’ll see if I can complete the set. (Note to self: you might need a magnifying glass…)
Recently, I found an article in my trusty Mollie Makes that showed how to crochet a tent. A miniature tent. Also in the article, was an ad for the book that the pattern was in. So, to Book Depository I went!
The book in question, Let’s Go Camping!, came in the week and I’ve already crocheted a plant pot.
It’s roughly Schleich sized, which (hopefully) means that the other projects are about the same.
We all know what this means…….
…..the crochet posts on this blog are gonna go crazy.
