Yes, the Gryffindor scarf is finally finished! *Gryffindor cheer*
It is a bit wider than the other three scarves but I think that’s what gives it its individuality.
Group photo! Founders, anyone?
I really enjoyed working on this, and I want to make more Hogwarts – or wizarding – things. I would like to do a life-size Ravenclaw scarf, but if you guys have any ideas for miniatures I’d love to know!
Recently, I completed another Mollie Makes freebie, which was a woven piece. For the record (and if anyone from Mollie Makes sees this) I think the miniature loom was a great idea.
However, I didn’t get enough yarn to make it the length shown in the magazine, so I had to improvise a bit with the leftover warp threads.
It currently hangs next to a handmade set of shelves on my bedside table. The general consensus from the shelves is that they like it, and I reckon it adds a nice weave of colour to the space.
Get it? Weave?
The lake house now has a source of warmth and food, because I finished the oven!
Doesn’t it look so cute in the corner?
The ‘lake’ is a small mirror I found in a cupboard and put grass clippings on to hide the border.
I really need to find a shrink ray. It looks to cute for the dolls.
The Ravenclaw scarf is finished, and I have to say, it does look really nice.
Of course, I may be slightly biased as Ravenclaw is my house. But that’s a minor detail. Now I’ve just got to do Gryffindor’s scarf.
My family and I recently visited the beach (as is customary in summer) and, naturally, I took a horse along.
I love how bright all the pictures turned out. I love taking pictures by the sea, or maybe it’s the sea air. Who knows. 😀
Anyways, see ya!
