An Aussie Take on Roofing

I’ve noticed (through extensive TV-watching…) that European roofs are usually slated, tiled, thatched or green, in the really modern homes. However, in Australia, many people have a roof that is silver metal (fancy ones are coloured metal).

So, I wanted to replicate this on my stable, so I stuck two cereal boxes together and covered them with this paper from the MyFroggyStuff blog (kudos!) that looks like metal roofing.

This picture makes it look the most like metal.

I only covered the exterior as the horses don’t really mind seeing cardboard above them. Faux metal roofing looks so much better than cereal box roofing.

See ya!
