A True Farmhorse

On the way to (and from) the yarn festival, we stopped at a genuine, 19th century Australian homestead that had been restored as a museum. I didn’t get many pictures of the inside, but I did get pictures of Fawkes in the gardens.

I thought he’d be quite at home, seeing as horses were used a lot on 19th century stations. I also felt he’d like meeting some much larger friends.

These two horses were statues outside the place we stayed while at the festival. As you can see, even they were yarnbombed, with some very nice scarves. Aren’t they just adorable? I loved the little foal, he was so cute.
