Three Broomsticks Exterior

The scaffolding has come down on Diagon Alley’s newest store.

I designed the signs, door and windows myself, and it was a lot of fun!

This is the other wall of the outside – being a corner room, there’s two walls for things to go on.

It’s looking good! I can’t wait to see them all lined up – I might add street plants and lampposts in-between making the other two stores.

Anyways, see ya!

Three Broomsticks Interior

The interior of the Three Broomsticks is done! It no longer looks like a calendar.

This room’s big enough for a horse!

Wait, no Fawkes, I didn’t mean literally!

That way – yep, that’s it – good boy. Okay.

I was debating colours for ages, and decided on cream walls, parquetry floors and a dark brick outside (which I will show you, just not yet).

Next, we need furniture.

At the moment, I’m planning a curved counter in the corner, and one or two booths for eating. A section of the counter may be clear, to display cakes and pies and the like.

Anyways, see ya!

Living Room Updates

This weekend, I’ve been making a few things for the living room.

The main thing is the fireplace.

The stone effect is done with hot glue, and the ash around the fire is dry-brushed on.

The old couch also got arms, as I felt it looked a little strange without them.

The fireplace makes the living room really nice and toasty when it’s lit. Adds an extra layer of coziness to a particularly chilly winter night.

Anyways, see ya!
