Upcycling

I tried to make a long-sleeved shirt for Sarah, and it didn’t end well, unfortunately. Until I had the bright idea to upcycle it into a short-sleeved shirt.

You can see the cut-off sleeves in the top corner above.

Sarah helped out too, holding it while I hemmed raw edges.

Looks good, doesn’t it? Its material is slightly thicker than the other shirts’ so it’s perfect for the colder weather we’ve had recently.

In fact, it’s the perfect weather to light the fire…

… and bury yourself under a blanket with a hot drink and a book.

Anyways, see ya!

Oh that last picture looks so cozy, lucky Sarah! Crochet afghan, hot drink, Winter, and a new shirt. πŸ˜€ That fireplace looks awesome by the way, I love how you did the stones! πŸ˜€

Thank you! The fireplace stones are little mounds of hot glue that were painted over. 😊
