More Variety

To add to the variety I was aiming to get into Sarah’s selection of pants, I also made this pair.

This fabric is stretchy, so they have a slimmer fit, especially around the ankles.

The elastic band at the top is wider than the other pair, not that it really matters.

IMG_2154_1

They’re great for seeing the horses, and for coming home from seeing the horses in…

…to a very excited droid. Among other things, they’re good for lounging on that couch in front of a fan with a cold drink because it’s so hot at the moment.

Anyways, see ya!

Denim & Daisies

I’ve wanted to make a miniature denim jacket for a while now, and I only got around to it not long ago.

However, I was tossing up between embroidering something colourful on the back or sewing a lace flower on. I ended up going with the lace flower.

I embroidered all the paneling details in yellow thread, just like real-people sized denim jackets.

Matches the flowery pants, doesn’t it? If I were to make it again, I would definitely make the sides of the jacket wider, as it is a little tight at the sides.

Spring Bunting

This is almost like a series, isn’t it?

IMG_2139_1

“On this episode of Seasonal Bunting, it’s spring!” *catchy theme tune*

IMG_2140_1

It nearly matches Sarah’s new pants, doesn’t it?

Putting up the new bunting marks the change of the seasons for Sarah, and she’s hopefully heading to Diagon Alley again next weekend for some flowers and plants to put around the house.

BB-8 really likes the camera, he came rolling and beeping from the other end of the house to be in this shot. Drama queen!

Anyways, see ya!

Fancy Pants

I noticed recently that Sarah’s choice of pants was rather limited.

IMG_2133_1

There’s not a lot of colour or variety in there, is there?

IMG_2132_1

Thus, these came into life.

IMG_2134_1

I made them in a cotton flowery print and they’re ever so slightly loose, to accommodate for the fact that cotton doesn’t stretch.

IMG_2138_1

I’m quite proud of the band at the top, as I usually struggle with putting elastic in the tops of pants and keeping it neat.

IMG_2136_1

Perfect for a day of shopping on Diagon Alley. I really should make a lamppost for the street, as well as some more flower pots. I put the pot in this picture in on a whim, and it looks great. Maybe I need a pair of pots for each doorway…

For When the Time Comes…

When I print miniature labels for things, I usually print them in large batches. In this batch was the grooming kit labels (in both sizes), and these First Aid kit labels.

IMG_2122_1

There were a lot of them.

IMG_2124_1

The printable came from Desktop Stables, and contains various horsey medical-related things like a box of rubber gloves, a year’s supply of wormer, and what I think is a tub of poultice.

IMG_2125_1

I made this syringe out of a cotton bud that had the fluffy ends removed, the pointy end of a toothpick and paper, which was rolled around the cotton bud in the shapes I needed.

IMG_2126_1

River’s learning about herself, I see.

IMG_2127_1

All the various bottles and boxes fit in this bag, which can be carried over the shoulder when necessary. My favourite thing is probably the little tubs, I’m extra happy with how they turned out, especially the one with the yellow lid.

Anyways, see ya!
